I have always loved baking. A spark was ignited in me as a little girl one Christmas morning upon unwrapping an Easy-Bake Oven. I remember making my first cake, adding the special finishing touches of powdered sugar from an Oreo shaker and a plastic Scooby-Doo cake topper. I was a real Betty Crocker. Ever since then, I have been in love with the art of crafting beautiful baked goods to present to those I care about. Paying homage to the holiday that started it all for me, I present my recipe for the perfect Christmas cutout sugar cookie (or anytime of year for that matter). I have used this recipe for holidays, birthdays and just because I wanted to be creative with decorating. It is an easy to make, simple cut-out recipe, which requires no chilling time and gives you great results.
